Video streaming company Roku saw its advertising revenue double to reach $467m in the first three months of 2021, according to the latest company reports.
Why it matters
Digital video is becoming more popular, with two-fifths of online consumers now having an internet-connected TV, and this is eroding linear video activity. WARC Data's latest figures suggest linear TV advertising has fallen $47bn globally over the last five years, while online video has grown $39bn.
