The shortlists for the Effective Use of Tech and the Effective Use of Partnerships & Sponsorships categories in the WARC Media Awards being announced today reveal some interesting regional divergences.
The EMEA region dominates in Partnerships & Sponsorships, with seven papers each from UK and the Middle East. North America supplies four papers and Asia Pacific three (and two of them from New Zealand).

The APAC region is much more to the fore in the Tech shortlist, with ten papers – one more than Europe (five papers from the UK, Russia and Spain) and the Middle East (five) combined; North America supplies the remaining two.
